And this Chocolate Strawberry Collagen Smoothie really hits the spot. It’s not overly sweet, so I don’t feel like I’m consuming a day’s worth of sugar in one sitting, but it’s sweet enough to satisfy my cravings. It really hits the “sweet spot.”
One of the best things about this smoothie is that it has TWO secret healthy ingredients that you’d never know were there unless you made it yourself – collagen and spinach! This 5-Ingredient Chocolate Strawberry Collagen Smoothie is a delicious, healthy, easy way to sneak in some greens and get your daily dose of collagen!
1 cup baby spinach
1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or other dairy-free milk of choice)
1 scoop grass-fed collagen peptides
1 Tbsp raw cacao powder
Optional: 1 tsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
Add all ingredients to your high-speed blender and blend until well combined.
Pour into your favorite smoothie cup and drink up!
Best when consumed immediately, but it does save in the fridge in an airtight container for about a day, if you want to make extra and save it for later.
